Terms of Service
Last updated: May 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dentrace website, the products built on the Dentrace engine (including Trace Your Coffee), and the underlying platform (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
1. Use of the Services
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account, for keeping login credentials confidential, and for the accuracy of the data you submit.
2. Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you upload to Dentrace. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Services and to generate the compliance outputs you request. We will not use customer data for unrelated purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to break the law or infringe the rights of others.
- Upload knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent records.
- Attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the Services.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Services without our written permission.
4. Compliance disclaimer
The Services are designed to support EUDR readiness and other traceability workflows, but they do not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for confirming that your operations meet the regulatory requirements that apply to you, including the latest guidance from competent authorities.
5. Fees
Paid features of the Services are described in your order form or subscription agreement. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable and exclusive of taxes. We will give reasonable notice of any changes to subscription pricing.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, designs, and documentation, are owned by Dentrace and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the limited rights granted in these Terms, no other rights are granted to you.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if continued use poses a security or legal risk. On termination, we will help you export your data within a reasonable period.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dentrace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, give notice through the Services. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Contact
